Our History

AAA Appliance Service Center was founded as a family business named AAA Service Company in suburban Kansas City in 1950 by brothers Charlie and Dale Dolbeare. Dale was drafted by the Chicago Bears, and immediately thereafter by Uncle Sam. In 1958, after Charlie passed away and Dale was discharge from the army, Dale opened the first Chicago location of AAA Service Company in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.

Legend holds that the reason for the ‘AAA’ part of the name was that the Fairway, Kansas office was an old remodeled gas station. Since it had a Triple A Motor Club sign, Charlie was too “frugal” to let a perfectly good sign go to waste; hence, AAA Service Company was born.Our technicians strive for excellence. They are factory-trained, licensed and bonded, receiving continuing education and training to provide our customers the highest level of professional service possible. We use the latest equipment and procedures to safeguard our clients, their property, and their time. AAA Appliance Service Center of Chicago was virtually the first company in the country to install fleet tracking technology to enhance the speed of response to our clients.

Our commitment to service superiority extends to our Customer Assistance Center personnel as well. We pride ourselves on offering customer service unparalleled in the industry. Our staff is both knowledgeable and helpful. Our goal is to schedule prompt and on time scheduling. We recognize the value of time, and created scheduling windows to help better serve our clients’ diverse lives.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality professional service possible. Our business continues to grow due to the loyalty and referrals of our satisfied customers. As a result, we have outgrown our old work space, and on March 17th, 2009, we moved to a new location in Park Ridge. We value our customers’ loyalty, and as thanks, we give all our customers a repeat customer discount card upon completion of a work order.
