NOW HIRING LEVEL 1 + LEVEL 2 TECHS in Chicago, IL & Atlanta, GA

Technicians diagnose and repair residential appliances including but not limited to; washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and ovens. We strive to provide superior service at our clients’ locations throughout the Chicagoland area.

Our technicians are well equipped and receive a rewarding benefits package. The technical team is provided with a Samsung tablet, a fully equipped service van, mobile phone, uniforms, and more. Each technician is provided a service territory based on their residence location and dispatched from home each morning.

Requirements:

  • Work as a dedicated team member to ensure fast, flexible and expert service to every customer
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments
  • Have previous experience repairing brands including but not limited to; Whirlpool, Subzero, Maytag, and GE.
  • Successfully complete all Technician I training elements within required timeframes
  • Meet key performance metrics and/or productivity goals
  • Provide knowledgeable and courteous repair service
  • Mentor other technicians, as applicable
  • Maintain truck stock inventory
  • Follow the truck maintenance schedule and keep a clean, organized truck
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

A high School Diploma is required. Background and drug screens are performed before employment is accepted.  A background and drug screen testing is required to provide the highest level of trust and grade of professionalism for our clients.

Training for this position ranges from 1-4 weeks.

  • Customer Online Chat
  • Monitor client services email
    • Warranty Work Orders
    • Online Orders
  • Create & schedule work orders
  • Answer inbound calls from clients
  • Correct customer account information (01 biller, address, phone, etc.)
  • Resolve customer issues, but escalate to Lead Service Coordinator, Office Manager or Director as needed
  • Contact technicians’ next client/work order
  • Contact customers if delay in schedule
  • Schedule Unassigned dispatches
  • Schedule Part Installs (as directed by dispatcher)
  • Prepare “Welcome Packages” for new clients
  • Contact previous customers to verify quality service
    • Follow up calls for larger jobs 1 year after (sealed systems)
    • Follow up calls for customer pending quote (30 days out) to close out / find out why declined
    • Satisfaction Survey

PURCHASING

  • Order/Receive parts
  • Research/Part look ups
  • Inventory entry
  • Organize inventory in warehouse and trucks
  • Return parts that are unused
  • Drop off parts to technicians
  • Pick up part from vendors/PD
